Quality & certifications

Quality you can verify.

PrimeStop sources every part from verified automotive manufacturers and holds their quality documentation on file. Certification claims on this site are displayed only when they are supported by valid documentation from the manufacturer or supplier that produced the part.

Where a certification belongs to a manufacturing partner, we present it as a manufacturer certification — not as a PrimeStop company certification. Documents that are expired, or that our team has not yet verified, are never shown as active.

What we document

The standards behind our catalog

Each standard below explains what the certification means and which products it applies to. Verified documents on file appear directly underneath the standard they belong to.

Applicable products
Brake pads and brake rotors, where the manufacturer holds an approval.
Issuing organization
UNECE type-approval authorities

Laboratory Testing

Independent or in-house laboratory reports covering friction performance, wear rate, high-temperature fade, compressibility, thermal cycling and — for filtration — efficiency and capacity testing.

Applicable products
Brake pads, rotors and filtration products submitted for testing.
Issuing organization
Testing laboratories named on each report
